Bespoke Consultancy & Training at your site
Based on your objectives we can tailor make a programme of consultancy, training or both. This could include :

Disability Awareness Training
This training is designed to increase staff confidence in working with disabled people and in the delivery of inclusive activities.
Disability awareness training can be tailored to your needs. We’ll start by asking what you want to achieve from the training and then work from this to put together training that meets your objectives.
Climbing For All
Climbing For All is a one day course providing an introduction to instructing disabled people in climbing.
The purpose of the course is to provide instructors and coaches with increased confidence and skills to enable people with disabilities to experience, enjoy and progress in climbing.
The course also provides an opportunity to test your instructing skills in new territories.
MTA members will receive 1 CPD point for attending this course.
Depending on your existing knowledge you can chose from :
Half Day Beginner Course – this provides an introduction to disability awareness in a Paddle-sport setting.
Intermediate Full Day Course – this is aimed at coaches wishing to develop their knowledge of adaptive equipment and coaching principles.
This course is accredited by British Canoeing
Moving & Assisting People In The Outdoor Environment
The aim of the course is to train delegates in the current and best practice when moving and assisting people in the outdoor environment.
We also run open courses throughout the year for individuals who want to develop their personal skill set in the different areas of training as listed above.
