With over 35 years experience of working in the outdoors supporting people with disabilities, Bendrigg Trust are a specialist centre and a leader in our field. We are continually developing to ensure we remain at the forefront of disability innovation and are proud to share our knowledge, expertise and skills with others towards our ultimate vision of an inclusive society where everyone is equal. We help schools, colleges, outdoor education centres and youth centres to develop their services to enable participation by people of all abilities.
You can choose from our selection of packages including disability awareness training, climbing for all, Paddle-ability, moving and handling or our consultancy team can arrange a bespoke course at your site. We can advise on access, equipment and inclusivity with all sessions designed and constructed specifically to meet your aims and objectives.
Our next Climbing for All courses are running on Friday 10th November 2017 and Friday 9th February 2018. The course costs just £45pp inc. VAT and lunch with MTA members receiving a 25% discount (£33pp). Click here for a flyer.
Climbing for All is a one day course providing an introduction to instructing disabled people in climbing. The purpose of the course is to provide instructors and coaches with increased confidence and skills to enable people with disabilities to experience and enjoy climbing. The course also provides an opportunity to test your instructing skills in new territories. MTA members will receive 1 CPD point for attending this course.
