BMC Climbing Challenge

BMC Climbing Fundraising Challenge

Climbing For All 2022

The BMC are once again running a fundraising campaign from the 21st March – 27th March 2022 to help raise much needed funds for a number of UK based charities which involve the medium of Climbing and the outdoors – Bendrigg Trust being one of those chosen charities.

We’d love for you to support us and enable even more people of all abilities to Climb here at Bendrigg.

Who Can Take Part?

Any teams from Schools, Colleges, Climbing Clubs or Individuals to sign up and raise funds by taking on one of the BMC’s climbing challenges or creating your own.

How do I take part and what are the challenges?

The all important details for how to take part in the challenge can be found on the BMC Website here : https://www.thebmc.co.uk/bmc-climbing-charity-fundraiser-2022

There is a selection of pre-written climbing challenges which involve you climbing the height of famous peaks around the UK. Climbs can be completed in a variety of ways such as bouldering, roper or traverse walls or they can be done outside for more experienced climbers. Check out the BMC website above for downloadable forms or why not create your own!

How can I collect and donate any funds raised?

We are registered to many different platforms including Facebook and Just Giving, but we also have our own platform where you can create a fundraiser and post updates of your progress! It’s really easy to set up and there are minimal fees meaning we get more of any donations made to us > https://bendriggtrust.enthuse.com/profile

If you’d prefer to collect cash donations and make a lump sum donation at the end of the challenge, you can use the sponsorship forms on the BMC Website and make your donation to us here.
