London Marathon 2027, 2028 & 2029

The London Marathon first took place in 1981 and has become one of the most popular marathons in the world. The route takes in many of London’s best landmarks including Buckingham Palace, The Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf.

We have FOUR charity places each year, should you wish to apply we would love to hear from you!

Date of event – Last Sunday of April each year.

Distance 26.2 miles

There is a minimum sponsorship you need to raise which excludes gift aid. A registration fee is also payable to Bendrigg should your application be successful.

Participants to make their own way and back to event.

Minimum age 18 years.

If you require a guide they can accompany you free of charge!

For 2026 we have Fred, Ed, James & Lee running for us and we wish them all the best.

For 2027 we have Kim & Louise – 2 places available
