We have vacancies for Apprentice Instructors for 2025. This is a 13-month scheme for people of any age wanting to gain skills, qualifications and experience working in the outdoors with people with disabilities. Candidates should have a keen passion for the outdoors and a desire to lead others but with no previous experience. Apprentices will be inducted and trained to work with Bendrigg groups and will work towards the Level 3 Outdoor Activity Instructor Apprenticeship. Experience of working with disabled people is desirable. Holding a C/4 for maths and English and a driving licence (held for at least 12 months) is essential for this role.

We have Tutor positions available, starting in January 2025. The successful candidate will likely have previous experience at another outdoor centre and will ideally have a range of outdoor qualifications. However, we would accept applications from people from other sectors with comparable experience. Experience working with disabled people and minibus driving will be an advantage to an application.
