Bendrigg Trust is situated within 15 acres of beautiful grounds between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. With a variety of habitats including fields, woodlands and a tarn, Bendrigg is truly a special place. The grounds are home to many of our activities including zip wire, tube slide, orienteering and ropes courses as well as sculpture trails and a musical instrument garden created by our Artist in Residence. Groups can enjoy open-air campfires on an evening or take shelter with a log fire in our yurt or teepee.
We also have the Aiming High Community Field which is an inclusive play area with wheelchair roundabout and swing, accessible toilet facilities, adapted bike and trike hire, safe cycle paths around our field and woodland, picnic benches for lunch and large grassy areas for games.
We would love lot’s of people from our local community to enjoy this space and are grateful for donations to support the upkeep and maintenance of this important resource (suggested donation of £50/year per family or £10/visit).
