Duke of Edinburgh’s Award An Approved Activity Provider

dofe Duke of Edinburgh

Bendrigg Trust are an Approved Activity Provider as granted by the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. We take special pride in offering accessible courses to cater for all abilities. We have an extremely flexible, adaptable and experienced team who deliver Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards at all levels – Bronze, Silver and Gold – whilst following the 20 conditions laid out by the DofE as closely as possible.

We make this happen by maintaining a close relationship from start to finish with the client and the DofE. Our highly experienced staff will instruct, supervise and support each individual throughout their DofE award. Bendrigg can provide specialist equipment and expedition kit to help enable individuals to complete their DofE.

Bendrigg runs training and qualifying expeditions at all 3 levels and Residential courses at Gold. You can also complete your Volunteering section of the Award with us.

Individuals wanting to complete the Bronze award can start at 14 years old, Silver at 15 years old and Gold at 16 years old. All awards must be completed by the participant’s 25th birthday.

Tim loved doing the DofE Gold Residential with Bendrigg Trust and it boosted his self-confidence and raised his spirits so much that friends commented on the change. Thank you so much!
