The Lodge

Set in 15 acres of grounds, Bendrigg Lodge has been extensively refurbished to extend the facilities available for people with more severe disabilities.

The accommodation is in small dormitories on two floors with ramp and lift access to the first floor. For visitors with a physical disability, profiling beds, ceiling and mobile hoists are available.

In addition to the activity programme, an equally important aspect of a residential stay at Bendrigg is being involved in the day-to-day running of the Centre.

Group members take an active part in organising and carrying out certain domestic duties, which include making packed lunches, setting tables, washing up and being involved in the end-of-course clear-up.
