The objectives are to:

The Activities Hall has been built to provide a range of additional resources for residential and day visiting groups. Such additional facilities have been requested by visiting groups so that a wider range of indoor activities are available to compliment our outdoor provision. The building contains the following areas:

Climbing/abseiling wall (max 8m)

This provides different levels of difficulty for the various abilities of our clients.  We believe that this is the best indoor climbing facility, offering the most accessible climbs, for people with disabilities in the UK. In addition there is a 45º abseil slope suitable for wheelchair users.

Fire escape abseil

A vertical abseil opportunity from the top level of the building (7m).  Because this is a free-hang abseil it is fully inclusive enabling all participants to partake, regardless of their disability.

Open activity area

This is suitable for indoor games, projects, activities and ‘soft-play’.
