Oakwood is a self-contained annexe situated in the Lodge grounds and is suitable for groups of up to 22 people. Accommodation is on two floors in small dormitories. there is a large dining/lounge area with a fully equipped kitchen.

There are 2 showers, washroom, toilet area, drying facilities and it is fully Oakwood has been designed as a minature Bendrigg Lodge for groups wishing to be self-contained and it is particularly suitable for training schemes, Schools, Colleges, and Youth Groups.  The building has also proved to be ideal for small groups of people with learning disabilities, taking part in courses designed to promote independence.

We have accommodated groups of people including one or two in wheelchairs but Oakwood is not ideal for groups of people with severe physical disabilities because of its location in the grounds away from the road. At certain times of the year Oakwood can be hired by groups wishing to be self- catering and with their own independent programme.
